Going into business for myself is something I’d wanted to do for a long time. After my dad passed in 2024, I found myself with the means to finally take that step. It wasn’t the way I ever expected to start this kind of journey, and it certainly wasn’t something I took lightly.

 

But it did give me the opportunity to follow through on a goal I’d carried for years. Story Arc was started. In a straightforward way, this shop reflects the things he encouraged in me: work hard, commit to what matters, and build something that has value to others.

From the beginning, my plan was simple. I wanted a clean, organized, welcoming store where people could walk in and immediately find something that interests them—new comics, back issues, RPGs, trading card games, collectibles, or just a good recommendation.

 

Story Arc isn’t about being flashy or over-the-top. It’s about creating a comfortable space for readers, gamers, and fans to explore the things they enjoy. If the store feels approachable and genuine, then it’s doing exactly what it was meant to do.
